Knoll International reinforced its commitment to sustainability with a seminar by Dr Garry Felgate, (Managing Director of AEA Environmnental Consulting) titled "Climate change, the reasons for an organisation to change and why wise specification is essential to the built environment". The seminar took place in the Knoll International London showroom on 20th November 2007 and was attended by a number of the A & D Community.

Dr Felgate's message on suistainability was strong and direct: a company can operate sustainably not only by implementing specific environment friendly strategies and practices, but also by producing high quality, durable products that will last for many years, as the longer the products are used, the smaller their carbon longterm footprint becomes. It is far better to produce a product properly once, than to produce a lesser product twice.
